How DynoServers works

DynoServers lists bare-metal dedicated servers that partner data centers have built and racked and are ready to hand over. Instead of browsing a dozen provider sites, you compare real machines side by side: processor model, core count, memory, disk layout, port speed and monthly price.

  1. Filter the list. Narrow by city, storage type, memory, core count or budget, or search for a specific CPU.
  2. Open the specification sheet. Check the chassis, exact CPU, memory and drive details and the bandwidth terms.
  3. Order from the data center. Checkout happens with the partner that runs the hardware. Pick your operating system and pay for the first month.

Why rent bare metal instead of cloud

Cloud instances share physical hosts, charge for every gigabyte that leaves the network, and get expensive once they run around the clock. A dedicated server costs the same every month, has no noisy neighbors, and includes unmetered or generous bandwidth on most plans. For databases, game servers, virtualization hosts, streaming and anything that runs 24/7, that usually means better performance for less money. Our guide how to choose a dedicated server walks through the specs that matter.

Looking for something specific? Start with cheap dedicated servers, SSD and NVMe servers, high-memory servers or game server hosting.

Questions people ask

What is a dedicated server?

A dedicated server is a whole physical computer in a data center that is rented to one customer. You get all of its processor cores, memory, disks and network port, with root or administrator access, and nobody else's workload runs on it.

How quickly can I get a server?

Everything listed here is built and in stock. Many servers are handed over within hours of payment; custom operating system or RAID requests can take longer.

Do I need to sign a contract?

No. Servers are billed month to month. Cancel before your next billing date and the server is not renewed.

Which operating systems can I install?

Common Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux are standard, and most servers can run Windows Server, Proxmox or VMware ESXi. You choose during checkout.

Why do listings disappear?

Each listing is a specific machine. When someone orders it, it leaves the list at the next stock check. Stock is re-checked twice a day.

Who do I pay, and who supports the server?

When you click order, you check out directly with the partner data center that operates the hardware. They bill you and handle hardware support. We can help you choose and answer questions before you buy.
